The following pictures are from our personal collection, some were taken on stage, and all are copyrighted and NOT TO BE COPIED...they are simply here for all to enjoy!!

Benefit for Danny Joe Brown
Jammin' for DJB

Danny Joe was the original voice of Molly Hatchet...and although we never got to know him personally before his untimely death, we feel like w
e did through band members that have become good friends of ours!
OUR ROCK AND ROLL PAST - A BETTER DJ & KARAOKE HOST

This was a once in a lifetime show...and we were blessed to be there...among the players were our friends Dave Hlubek, Banner Thomas, Steve Holland, Jimmy Ferrar, Jay Johnson, and Charlie Hargrett!

Danny Joe was not supposed to sing that night...but he got so caught up in the emotion of the players and the audience that he came out and sang "Flirtin' With Disaster" amid tears and cheers from the crowd!

Michael often dedicates his version of "Dreams" or "Flirtin with Disaster"
to Danny Joe...ask him to sing it for you!

MOLLY HATCHET
Well, what can you say about the band that kept southern rock alive and growing after the plane crash?
One of our favorite bands....and we are blessed with having friends in both the original band... and today's version!

OUR ROCK AND ROLL PAST - A BETTER DJ & KARAOKE HOST
Rina Marie & Michael's sister Patti with Skip the original drummer, Dave Hlubek, Steve Holland & Banner Thomas

Rina Marie made Dave Hlubek's 50th birthday cake!

We spent the weekend with him and the other SRA guys for a concert and a bday celebration in Lake City.
We for 2 are sooo glad to see Dave back with Molly Hatchet where he belongs!

Patti made Dave a batch of his favorite brownies....but he was on a diet so we all ate them and sent him this picture LOL

BIG ENGINE
BIG ENGINE MY SPACE
Probably the hardest working Rock and Roll band in the country right now....Tony the lead singer has a range from AC/DC to ZZ Top....and makes his guitar smoke......former Molly Hatchet bass player Banner Thomas keeps the bass boomin', and Hans...the most excellent young Guitar player ..... plays classic rock like he wrote it..and this trio is never without a top notch drummer...we are proud to call them friends!!!

Go see 'em locally while you still can! Buy their CDs! Tell your friends about them!

BLACKFOOT
First off when we think of Blackfoot...we think of our departed brother Jakson Spires
!

OUR ROCK AND ROLL PAST - A BETTER DJ & KARAOKE HOST

Jakson was not only one of the best drummers that ever lived....he was also one of the most genuine human beings we have ever had the pleasure of knowing!

The very first time we met Jak we knew we would be friends for life...and in our hearts he will always be with us!

Rina Marie had a very special bond with Jakson...both being diabetic ....they would send packs of sweet and low with notes to each other to and from the road...and on the day he passed.... there was a fresh pack from Rina Marie on his bedside table!

Rock and roll stars have millions of fans.....but every time we saw Jakson we knew from the look on his face that we were his friends!
Rest in peace brother Thunderfoot....you are a legend that will never die!

LYNYRD SKYNYRD
SKYNYRD WEBSITE
I have been Skynyrd fan since Rina Marie was only 9 years old!

Since they are my favorite band...... I have an excellent and extensive personal collection of pictures ..and I will post many here for your enjoyment!
Ronnie, Allen, and Steve were gone before I moved to Florida so we never really got to meet them...but I did have Ronnie pass me a bottle of Jack Daniels in the front row at a concert at Rich stadium in Buffalo N.Y. in the early 70's....about 75,00 people just stood with our mouths open in awe as we watched a bunch of skinny southern kids perform a raw and wild version of "FREEBIRD" live before it was getting any airtime .........OMG I was hooked for life!!!

For those of you that remember working your way up to the front row at general admission concerts...I toast you!!!

One of my favorite SKYNYRD memories will always spending about an hour with Artimus Pyle before a show....going through my 70's Skynyrd pictures and him being able to tell me which show each was from!!!

This part of the site will be under construction for a long time...we have thousands of pix...bookmark this page and stop by often!

Artimus Pyle is dedicated to keeping the music alive in the hearts of Ronnie's fans!
Artimus is the TRUE fan's fan....he loves to share his memories of his years with the original band and always makes time after the show to visit with the crowd :)

OUR ROCK AND ROLL PAST - A BETTER DJ & KARAOKE HOST

Greg has an awesome solo blues album "Midnight Blue" website...
Mikey does guest gigs with the best bands and is currently playing with Skinny Molly here and in Europe website...
and Tim is now playing bass with Bobby, Dave, and Phil in the current Molly Hatchet band website....the best line up they've had in years!

Artimus
as usual is keeping it all going strong..his bands will always be the best Ronnie Van Zant tribute tour! website

(stay tuned for some awesome Skynyrd slide shows coming soon!)

That's me, Michael in the beginning on the right side between Dave Hlubek ( Molly Hatchet) and Chris Hicks (Marshall Tucker) on stage singing "Can't You See" with Marshall Tucker and a host of members of other bands... I think there were about 20 of us on stage on the Lido deck on the Simple Man Skynyrd Cruise '09! Special thanks to Jim K for the video!
